x/(x+5) = (x-2)/(x+1)
x^2 + x = x^2 - 2x + 5x - 10
x = 3x -10
-3x + x = - 10
-2x = -10
x = 5

the two horizontal lines are parallell, so
x:(x+x+5)=(x-2):(x-2+x+1)
x:(2x+5)=(x-2);(2x-1)
x(2x-1)=(2x+5)(x-2)
2x²-x=2x²+x-10
x=5
