3 3/4 cups of flower to make 1  recipe

3 3/4 cups of flower-----------------> 1  recipe
??? n flower ----------------------------> 1/2 recipe

cross multiplication

n = 1/2   x 3 3/4    / 1  = 1/2  x 15 /4  = 15/ 8
cups of flower = 1.875

note 3  3/4 =( 3 x 4)  +3 / 4 = 15 /4
