It is impossible to
create an index based on the respondents’ pattern of responses. This is because
an index is only used to measure the gauge of a person’s extent to which they
agree or disagree with a statement. It cannot be used to reproduce patterns.
Therefore I will tell my
friend that “it cannot be done”.
