The battle of Puebla happened during the 5th of May 1862 wherein Mexican revolutionaries led by Benito Juarez fought against the French forces and completely overthrown the French regime in Mexico. Furthermore, the victory was still celebrated around the world in the name of Cinco de Mayo.
