1/x = (1/2)/(4/5)
Cross multiply!
1 * (4/5) = (1/2) * (x)
4/5 = 1/2x
Flip!
1/2x = 4/5
Multiply both sides by 2!
2 * (1/2x) = 2 * (4/5)
x = 8/5
So, 1/x = (1/2)/(4/5) = 8/5.
