R.F.= 1/2000000

=1/2x 10000x100

1cm=20000m

The scale of a map is given as= 1/2000000

Two town are 4 cm apart on the map.

the actual distance between two towns

=4x 20000

=80000 m

=80000/1000 Km

=80Km
