South Korea's (SK) enemy is North Korea. North Korea (NK) is a communist country that for decades has wanted to take over S.K. There may be other political enemies but NK has been the most vocal.
Allies of SK are many. The US is definitely an ally. We have several military bases in SK to help protect it from bombs, invasion and spying. Other allies are Japan, Thailand, Britain, and Australia.
