let A be (x1,y1)= -1,1

B be (x2,y2)= 3,-5

distance between AB = root under (x2-x1)square + (y2-y1)square

=root under (3- - 1)square +(-5-1)square

= root under 4 square + (-6) square

=root under 16 +36

=root under 52 units
