In 1619 the House of Burgesses was established.
The Virginia Colony had a wealthy estate from the plantations they maintained.
They had a large colony that expanded from states now Ohio, West virignia and Indiana.
The Virginia Colony enforced slaves to work at the plantations.
A Virginia Colony policy was that all colonists are legally required to attend church.
