3/10+4/100 i really need help with it because i forgot what to do

Since they are fractions you have to make sure the denominators are the same (the lower number) to do this we must multiply 3/10 by 10 to get the bottom number to 100

So,

3/10 * 10 = 30/100

You can now add the two together which is

34/100 or simplified 17/50
