The formula for Surface area of cylinder is given by

Surface area = [tex] 2\pi rh+2\pi r^2 [/tex]

where r is radius and h is height

So r= 5 cm and h= 12 cm

Let's plug the values in the formula

Surface area of cylinder = [tex] 2\pi (5)(12) +2\pi (5)^2= 2\pi (60 + 25) [/tex]

= 2(3.14)(85)

= 533.8 cm²

Last option is the correct one
